Dr. Michaela Tozzi: It's just a little bit before 6:00 AM here in Vegas. I'm sitting at the airport waiting to catch a flight to Vancouver for a Botox course. Should be a lot of fun, but I am tired. You can see it's still dark outside.
Dr. Michaela Tozzi: I'm taking this Botox course. It's more for therapeutic uses. I'm really excited because there's so many ways that I can utilize it in my practice for dentistry. I'm going up, I'm meeting one of my good girlfriends. She has a practice in San Francisco, Dr. Sophya Morghem. I went to dental school with her, so she's taking this course with me up in Vancouver. We're taking it at Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics. So should be a really good time.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: I'm not a morning person, at least at this hour. I'm going to go get a coffee over at Starbucks. I don't even like coffee, but I got to get my butt in gear.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: Just hit up Starbucks. Got a reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich, passion tea lemonade, light ice and four Splenda. I'm ready to roll now.

Speaker 2: This is a final boarding call for the Aer Lingus flight EI301.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: Hey guys. We finally made it to Vancouver. Made it to our hotel. Here is my friend, Dr. Sophya Morghem, that I was telling you about earlier.

Sophya Morghem: Hi.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: She's a girl that I went to dental school with back at UNLV. We're so excited to be here together to take this Botox course in Vancouver. Why don't you say hi to everybody.

Sophya Morghem: Hi everyone. Looks like we're ready to learn more.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: Yeah, and have some fun. Like I said, we just got to our hotel, we're going to kind of get situated.

Sophya Morghem: Grab a bite.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: Then go grab some lunch and maybe a cocktail.

Sophya Morghem: Look at this view. How nice. It's raining.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: You didn't bring an umbrella, did you?

Sophya Morghem:
No.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: I think we'll be okay. It's so nice.

Sophya Morghem: Oh wow.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: I love that we have a wider view over here.

Sophya Morghem: Look at all those little planes. A little C plane.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: I know. Is it a C plane? So cool. Okay, perfect.

Sophya Morghem: Tada, saved the day.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: My fun little bag my mom gave me.

Sophya Morghem: Brushing your teeth [inaudible 00:03:22].

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: Mm-hmm (affirmative). [crosstalk 00:03:26] I usually have it all over my face. [crosstalk 00:03:32].

Sophya Morghem:I actually had toothpaste on my shirt this morning.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: No limit to how many times a day you need to brush your teeth. If they start feeling furry or nasty or you're not feeling fresh, get in there and brush your teeth like we just did. We just traveled. I wasn't feeling that fresh. Time to get that sparkle on.

Sophya Morghem: Not just mouthwash. Brush your teeth.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: We're here at Cactus Club, great restaurant right down here by the water in Vancouver. As you can see it's raining on us.

Sophya Morghem: It's still pretty.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: But it's still gorgeous. Yeah, we came to get a bite and have a couple of cocktails.

Sophya Morghem: Starving.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: We're starving. A long day and it's only two o'clock. We just finished up with lunch. We are going to go ahead and head back to the hotel for a little bit before we meet up with some friends for dinner here in Vancouver. Then we've got our Botox course starting tomorrow at 8:00 AM. Sort of trying to fit in a little bit of fun before we have to get down in the classroom. It should be fun.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: We just got back to the room. We had a fantastic lunch down by the water.

Sophya Morghem:So good.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: So yummy. Had a couple of drinks and now we're back in the room. We're going to get changed and we're going to go out to dinner with a local friend of ours and eat some more and drink some more. I guess that's what we do.

Sophya Morghem: Eating all day.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: Yeah, we're just going to be gluttons. We're on vacay technically. So, you know.

Sophya Morghem: My sister was super shy.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: This is pretty cool. He came to dinner tonight. Stanley was our amazing host. He is the owner of Solid Events here in Vancouver. We are here in Chinatown. It's rainy, but we went to this amazing restaurant. It's called Phnom Penh. Actually what I love the most about it is that Anthony Bourdain came here. He's somebody I really admire and sorry to say he's gone. The food was delicious. You can see the line is just about out the door. Everything we had was amazing. Just thank Stanley for having us out here. Showing us...

Speaker 4: Always a pleasure!

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: Showing us how the locals do it. Highly recommends. All right, so here we are at a dental office downtown in Vancouver and today we actually get to do some injections of Botox stuff. Yesterday, it was more chill. It was a classroom environment. We didn't really do any filming or show any of that content. But today's the real deal. So are excited to be here and shoot some people up, so to speak.

Dr. Michaela Tozzi: Today we're up here at Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics, kind of learning more about Botox. I've been doing it for about four years, but it was more so for cosmetic purposes. The uses for it are really evolving and broadening and now it's really starting to take on a therapeutic hold. It's really important in dentistry and I think any medical or dental field to continue your education. You got to stay on top of current therapies and things like that, because obviously you want to offer the best to your patients. So here we are. I'm just kind of sharpening the saw with some Botox uses. I'm excited to be here and just kind of continue to learn so I can bring it back to my patients.

Speaker 5: You can see where I'm at. You can see that the hub is on my finger, on the skin. It's locked right here. Nice and stable. We're not floating in space.
